WHO AM I?

Storytelling is one of the best forms of art because it allows us to express ourselves in different ways. I have always been an introvert, which made being my authentic self difficult, and because of this, I became enthralled in stories, which led to my passion for writing and later entertainment.

Now to BASICS

Hi, I am Lindsey- just your typical Jedi, who has well-versed training in Media Communications. Through storytelling, I connect with audiences by creating innovative and impactful content. Occasionally, I’ve had to whip out my lightsaber while tackling digital campaigns, managing social media accounts for diverse clients and companies, and developing engaging content for both non-profits and large organizations — even in industries I’m less familiar with. I’m always open to new opportunities to apply my skills and continue growing in my field.

Writing

High school was never easy for me — I was the girl who rarely paid attention unless it was a creative writing class. It felt like the only place I could truly use my imagination — unless I was acting.

My math notebook? Filled with scribbles.
Who needs math when you can tell stories? Still my motto.

When I was eight, I wrote a Christmas play for my family to perform and I haven’t stopped writing since. I loved theater and acting, which naturally led me to writing stories. Over time, that turned into short stories and scripts.

Now, I write articles, blogs, guides and even ebooks for brands. What a glow up!

Years later, I started a blog on Tumblr, which became my creative outlet. It focused on entertainment and eventually I built a loyal following.

Writing gave me a voice — now I want to use it to uplift others. Today, I’m working on a novel and using WordPress to spotlight marginalized voices in entertainment —because the best stories aren’t always center stage.

Social Media

I never thought I’d fall in love with social media, not as a career path. Sure, I always loved being on social. I built a following on Tumblr, and later, an even larger one on Twitter. I’d post about my favorite musicians (Justin Bieber — the #belieber life was intense; SHINee + Jonghyun — the #shawol life wasn’t much calmer), TV shows and movies, and people would actually respond—like, really connect. That’s when I realized: social media could connect you with people from all over the world.

It wasn’t just fun; it was powerful. I didn’t just share content — I learned how to shape conversations. The Fandom life taught me how to build trust, tell stories, and keep people coming back.

That experience planted the seed. Later, I realized I could actually build a career around this —and I did. What I love most about social media is how it blends voice, visuals, and timing.

It’s storytelling in motion. Whether it’s crafting a caption, building a content calendar, or planning a full campaign —every post is a chance to connect, inform, or inspire.

From Instagram Reels to LinkedIn posts, I’ve learned how to adapt my voice to different platforms while keeping it authentic. I can tell a whole story with just a headline and an emoji, and know when to let visuals speak for themselves.

I’ve explored trends on TikTok and used Facebook to build engagement for nonprofits. Give me a platform, and I’ll master it. I’m that girl — the one who can do both.
